Everton Back Lost, Ronald Koeman Disappointed

Everton started in Group E Europa League with a 0-3 defeat of Atalanta held at MAPEI Stadium on Wednesday (14/09/2017) or Thursday morning GMT Agen Judi Online.

At that match, Atalanta scored three first-half goals through Andrea Masiello (27th minute), Alejandro Gomez (41 ‘), and Bryan Cristante (44’).

Conceded three goals in the first half this makes Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, admitted disappointed with the performance of his team.

The 54-year-old manager regrets the lack of enthusiasm and passion of his players who are so far compared to what Atalanta showed.

Koeman also judged that the performance is not much different from the last game Everton when Tottenham Hotspur destroyed with the same score at the Goodison Park Stadium on Saturday (09/09/2017).

“There are a lot of things going wrong, as a manager, I ask myself if I have done the wrong thing in the second half against Tottenham and the first half in this match,” Koeman told UEFA.com.

“The most painful thing is that the opposing team was able to show a lot of aggression and passion rather than us in the first half, which is what we should show before we can have quality with the ball,” he said.

This minor result is the fifth consecutive experienced Everton at the beginning of the 2017-2018 season.

After starting the season with a 1-0 win over Stoke City and 2-0 at Hadjuk Split, Everton failed to win from Manchester City (1-1), Hadjuk Split (1-1), Chelsea (0-2), Tottenham (0- 3) and Atalanta (0-3).

In the next game, Everton will also travel to Old Trafford Stadium to face Premier League leaders Manchester United on Sunday (17/09/2017).
